Dr. Krasnow has over 19 years experience as a cataract surgeon, and is the only fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist in southern West Virginia. As the founder and chair of the department of ophthalmology, Dr. Krasnow is a professor in both the Department of Ophthalmology and in the Family and Community Medicine Department. He has lectured extensively in the field of ophthalmology and also works as a national consultant. Dr. Krasnow has been named "One of America's Top Ophthalmologists" in 2007, 2008, and 2009.
