Welcome to the Division of Tactical Medicine!
Marshall University Tactical Medicine Division was created to provide medical services and support to law enforcement agencies. The division provides local law enforcement with a physician director as well as tactical medical support and officer wellness.
Education of law enforcement officers and tactical medical providers are directed by Marshall University through Mountain State Tactical and provide both a tactical and medical aspect that are integrated into a comprehensive training module that includes force on force training using scenario based applications.
The tactical medicine fellowship provides extensive law enforcement training with emphasis on HomeLand Security Guidelines as well as Tactical Medicine principles and will enable the fellow to administrate tactical medicine and officer wellness in any agency and become an active law enforcement participant.
